During the Christmas season, Toronto celebrates the Cavalcade of Lights festival. Aside from major streets and neighbordhoods fully lighted with christmas lights and decorations, every weekend there's an event happening in City Hall. Last Saturday, I went there with Debie (formerly from UP EEE (now in UBC EE) who's taking her coop in Toronto). The entire Nathan Phillips Square (city hall plaza) was filled with people.

Things for people to do:
1. Ice-Skating.
2. Watch the band (last Saturday was Jacksoul... a really good jazz-R&B group)

3. Watch the spectacular fireworks display
4. Watch the Immersion, a light project. (The Old City Hall was immersed in projected light throughout the night. However, Immersion itself is a 15 minute projection show amidst loud classical music)

5. Enjoy the christmas decorations.
6. Eat. There were several booths scattered across the Square.
7. Enjoy the night and Relax.
