Last March 29, 2008, Toronto observed the Earth Hour from 8-9pm. The city turned off its lights for an hour and a welcome guest, never seen in Toronto, showed up... the stars. Anyway, there was a big free acoustic concert-party downtown at the Nathan Phillips Square. The main attraction: Nelly Furtado. In observance of Earth Hour, her opening song was "Turn Off the Lights". Other performers included Fefe Dobson and Philosopher Kings. Below are the pictures. Videos are to follow. Good idea to organize something during "earth hour". Another option would have been to make a baby ! ;-)
